According to MICROIP, this solution utilizes MediaTek’s MT8390/MT8370 processors. Notably, these processors are built on TSMC’s 6nm process technology, featuring dual-core ARM Cortex-A78 and six/four-core ARM Cortex-A55 architectures. They also integrate 4.0TOPs/3.2TOPs neural processing units (NPU), making them ideal for industrial automation products requiring AI capabilities, image and video processing, and high-performance computing.

Dr. James Yang, Chairman of MICROIP, stated that the adoption of the “AI Software Platform Solution” by WT Microelectronics is a testament to their leading position in AI technology. Looking ahead, MICROIP will continue to focus on providing customers with a one-stop service, from the selection of AI chips and hardware platforms to the integration of system software and hardware, helping customers stay competitive in a rapidly changing market.

WT Microelectronics’ choice of MICROIP’s “AI Software Platform Solution” provides a one-stop service for AI model customization for industrial IoT edge devices, enabling customers to quickly deploy AI products into real-world applications. This significantly shortens time-to-market while greatly reducing the investment costs in AI manpower and R&D resources.
