MICROIP showcased its latest customized AI and IC design services at EE Intelligent TechCon2024 on October 1-2 in Taipei! 🚀

This event highlighted our cutting-edge solutions that drive the semiconductor industry forward. 🌐

MICROIP and it’s group company ARCULUS SYSTEM focused on three core areas:

🔧 IC Design Services

🖥️ AI Edge Computing Solutions

📊 EDA Tools (Powered by ARCULUS SYSTEM)

MICROIP made a grand debut at the “EE Intelligent TechCon” held from October 1 to 2, 2024, at the Taipei—Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, where it showcased its latest customized artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and integrated circuit (IC) design services.

Dr. James Yang, Chairman of MICROIP, pointed out that with the rapid advancement of AI and IC design technologies, the global semiconductor industry is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Dr. Yang stated, “We are at a critical juncture of technological transformation, and MICROIP aims to be a leader in this revolution. Through our unique ‘designless’ approach to customized IC design, we offer clients flexible and efficient tailor-made solutions at every stage, from chip design to manufacturing.”

At the event, MICROIP highlighted three core technologies and services, including IC design services, AI edge computing solutions, and the group’s proprietary EDA tools.

MICROIP’s IC design services range from conceptual design, architectural design, to detailed hardware description language (RTL) performance analysis and verification. Whether it is front-end design or back-end processes, MICROIP provides clients with comprehensive development support through to the mass production stage.

In AI edge computing solutions, MICROIP collaborates with several independent software vendors (ISVs) to drive the application of AI technologies across various fields. This includes algorithm design, AI chip design, data structure integration, and end-application collaboration. The solutions help clients implement edge computing applications such as facial recognition, license plate recognition, and fall detection, enabling businesses to achieve high-efficiency computing capabilities in areas like industrial automation and intelligent surveillance.

The group’s self-developed EDA tools include iPROfiler and Architecture Compiler, which significantly enhance the efficiency and performance of SoC (System on Chip) architectural design. iPROfiler is an AI-based SoC performance analysis tool that helps design teams comprehensively analyze system performance to ensure optimal design results. Architecture Compiler simplifies the co-design process of hardware and software for SoCs, seamlessly integrating various electronic components to improve overall performance.

In addition to showcasing its core technologies, MICROIP recently achieved a major collaboration milestone. Its AI software platform solution was successfully adopted by WT Microelectronics, based on the MediaTek (MTK) Genio IoT platform, applicable to the MT8390/MT8370 industrial-grade processors. Designed for AI functionalities and visual processing in industrial automation applications, this solution achieves an optimal balance between high performance and low power consumption, meeting the stringent computational performance demands of industrial applications.

MICROIP’s presentation at the EE Intelligent TechCon highlighted its leadership in IC design and AI technology, further solidifying its technological strength in the semiconductor industry. MICROIP will continue to drive innovation, bringing more cutting-edge solutions to the global tech industry.
