It is with profound sadness that MICROIP announces the passing of Mr. Gavin Liu, our Co-Founder, Group Vice President, Deputy CEO, and Spokesperson, who passed away following an illness on October 19, 2026, at the age of 52.

As a Co-Founder of MICROIP, Gavin played an instrumental role in building the company from its inception alongside former Chairman Mr. Yang Hsi-Kuei and current Chairman Dr. James Yang. Together, they navigated countless challenges, overcame formidable obstacles, and achieved the significant milestone of listing the company on the Emerging Stock Board. Simultaneously, Gavin served as the long-standing leader of our Research and Development (R&D) team. His visionary leadership laid a robust foundation for our advanced technological initiatives in IC design services, EDA tools, and AI software development, leaving behind an indelible legacy of excellence.

The loss of a pioneering partner who fought alongside the company every step of the way brings immeasurable sorrow to Chairman Yang and all MICROIP colleagues. Gavin was not only a core pioneer who established the company's technological bedrock but also a deeply respected technical leader to our entire team.

MICROIP will honor Gavin's legacy by carrying forward his unwavering dedication and spirit toward advanced technological research and development. At present, all company affairs have been seamlessly transitioned, and our overall operations and development continue to progress steadily. MICROIP will provide its fullest support to Gavin’s family during this difficult time with all subsequent arrangements.
